Let the negotiations begin..

The last couple of days I have been reading through Aglaee Jacob's book.  I had dismissed it for one reason or the other the last several times I checked it out from the library.  I guess desperation has finally set it.  I was interested enough in the copy I checked out that I purchased it on Amazon, it was only $5.99 on Kindle (they always sucker me in!).  Her elimination phase diet consists of protein, fat and vegetables, specifically zucchini (peeled and seeded), carrots, green beans and spinach.  Wednesday night I was all in.  Today having not even started the diet, I'm already negotiating.  "I didn't react positive to kale (or broccoli or bell peppers) on my Array 10, surely I can eat those", my brain argues.  It's been a good day with minimal itching so that doesn't help strengthen my resolve :)  I didn't really start itching until I took my Resolor.  Could be just a mind thing since I know it has lactose. I'm going to see if I have any refills on my LDN script, switch to that, see if I calm down a bit.

Dr. Ruscio released another SIBO podcast this week.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  1. Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving! I did Aglaee's SIBO diet plan several years ago, after my positive test. I started it in January and was retested at the end of Feb and it was negative. I followed it to the T and think it was very good for most existing gut/health issues. She was onto Monash U's diet and SIBO before many folks. I think Dr Siebecker's chart looks a lot like Aglaee's original diet, just sayin! So you might want to give it a try, as is!
Don't know if you've heard of Anthony William, Medical Medium is his recent book. He is part of Hay House's group of alternative approaches to health. Fascinating read and I have basically healed my gut/sibo/IBS-C issues in 10 days of following just a few of the recommendations. Seriously, I'm amazed after all the many, many things I've done and some for a year with no real healing, that I feel 100% better!! I know it sounds wacky or woo-woo, but when something works, I do it and I will try anything that makes sense to me. I don't like using pharmaceuticals and have done LDN, neomycin, flagyl, diet, only to get very short term results. Email me if you want more specifics. 😊

    1. I'll check out the book. Thanks for the recommendation. My ND recommended a local medical astrologer a while back who had amazing results with some of his patients but it was a lot of money and I just wasn't willing to do it. I love Hay House :) Do you listen to Jessica Ortner's podcast at all?? I just love her willingness to be vulnerable and put it all out there in all her goofiness.

  2. This guy is amazing and my friend, who is into func med and is also following his recs, found a FM dr who is saying very similar things with clinical documented results. Interesting!http://drhedberg.com/epstein-barr-virus-autoimmune-diseases/
Anthony William has a Monday live show on HH Radio and the book is really a game-changer for information. The Ortner's are the tapping people? I've heard them a bit, but never went down the tapping road. Anyway, I am feeling better than I have in a long, long time and eating amazing fresh fruits and vegetables with no problems! I'm not looking back and won't do the old school ND/MD protocols. They are acting on old info, that's why we have spent years chasing our tails and going from one problem to another! 😊
